Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
The Faith Formation Program at Holy Spirit Catholic Church is available for children and adults.
Baptism – this is the first step, often taken as infants through the wishes of their parents and supported by Godparents, to unite us into God’s Holy Family. To learn more and request to have your infant baptized into the Church, continue here…
Parish Religious Education Program (P.R.E.P.) – formally called C.C.D. (short for Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) is offered on Sundays during the school year and is required for children 6 to 13 years old to receive their Sacraments of First Communion, Penance, and Confirmation. The Good Shepherd’s Atrium – for children between the ages of 3 to 6; this program is offered on Sundays during the 10:30 AM Mass which allows parents to worship more fully while their children are engaged in age appropriate lessons and activities. R.C.I.A. for Teens – for young adults between the ages of 14 to 17 and prepares teens for all or any of the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, Penance, and Confirmation. Classes for Teens are held during the school year on Monday evenings. Please see the PREP page and complete the same enrollment form for adults to register your teenager.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.) – for those over the age of 18 who are interested in becoming Catholic or would like to learn more about the Catholic faith are welcome to join our meetings held every Monday evening. Please read more here…
Marriage Preparation – a program required by the Church to more fully prepare couples for this Sacramental vocation of holy matrimony, which they are about to undertake through a covenant between God, husband, and wife.
